Best in Class

It is a perfect UPS for my power hungry computer.

1 95 Watts CPU
2 X 200 MM Fans
1 X 140 MM Fan
2 X 120 MM Fans
1 CPU Cooler 90 MM FAN
1 Full Blown Red LED light.

All in all 550 Watts in my Cabinet + 21 Inch Monitor, runs for 37 Minutes on UPS before switching to 1 second beeps and thats where you need to shut down.

37 Minutes :) which is best in class at this price.
I have used many, iBall, Microtek and other, but none of those TV-Add company products come close to Champion.

The UPS to buy!!

It came in very safe and protective packaging. It is able to provide battery backup to my power hungry gaming PC with 650W SMPS.

Working fine so far.

Working fine so far. Beep sound cannot be muted. Started using as a power backup for Wifi router modem, set top box and TV but it's working fine for router alone and if used for set top box and led TV, experiencing fluctuations in the voltage. Not sure whether these fluctuations are going to harm led TV and set top box. Otherwise it is ok and the purpose is served and solved.

Is there any noise (like beep beep sounds) it makes every few min like some other UPS systems?

If you think it's a noise, then of course it does make the noise like all other ups do. Actually it is the alert signal that starts immediately when a power cut happens and the UPS begins to give you the desired backup, the beep continues to be more frequent as the time of backup comes to the end, so that you'll be able to save your work on PC and then shut it down. All good quality UPS, do beeps normally as it is intended for that particular job.

Is this product good for desktop?

Absolutely great product. I am using this for my desktop, modem and wifi router. Always worked during power cuts and I had internet during power cuts too. But make sure to switch off your desktop immediately after powercuts. Then modem and wifi power will last for hours. And you can use your tablet or smart phone through wifi.

Does this generate a pure Pine Wave or a Modified Sine Wave? This is important as I have a PSU with an Active PFC.

Its approximate to Sine Wave, not pure sine wave but Computer works perfectly. You are looking for pure sine wave, go with Line Interactive Sine Wave UPS - External battery.
